HBFD responds to MVA

(5/24/2022 at 8:06PM) the HBFD was dispatched to an MVA involving a single car that lost control hitting a mulch pile, fence, assorted landscaping equipment before jettisoning over an in ground pool and into another fence. Chief James Kappers was first on scene and had command. The sole occupant was able to self extricate and treated by the members of the HBVAC. Crew of 7-5-2 secured the vehicle. Fire police closed the road for a short period of time in order for the crews to operate safely. The scene was turned over to the town Fire Marshall.
